New homes for these artworks!

Prozac online Tasha Lovsin is an illustrator, copywriter and improviser. She’s also the proud new owner of some of my artwork.

She purchased a painting and a drawing to inspire her in her home! Both of these pieces were made back in 2010 for my first solo show, “MINDFCUK.”

Duane Jones’ commission

Duane Jones was so generous in his support for our fundraising campaign for Canada’s Self Portrait that I created an art piece specifically for his home. I worked with his guidelines, the spot in his home where the artwork would live, the colors in the surrounding space, and his background as a physical trainer to craft a piece of art.

Duane and his wife Linda were extremely satisfied with the artwork. Prozac online

This is Montreal Improv’s New Logo Design.

A few months ago, the Montreal Improv executive team – consisting of Marc Rowland, Vinny Francois and Bryan Walsh – contacted me to design a new logo for the theatre. After several in-depth consultation and brainstorming sessions, dozens of back-and-forth iterations and a few respectful discussion-arguments, we created the logo you see above on the right.

This was the goal.

We wanted a fresh new look that conveyed both the professional and light-hearted aspects of improvisational theatre. Modern. Clean. Fun. (But not too silly.) Dignified. Welcoming. Social. Playful. The butterfly is great for that.

This is Montreal Improv.

The three words of “School, Theatre, Community” capture the essence of Montreal Improv. It was important to clearly communicate the main functions of the brand so that outsiders would understand immediately what might be offered to them.

This is what I learned.

The inclusion of an abstracted animal – in this case, a butterfly – added so much depth, richness and symbolism to the design. While a purely text-based design is more simple, the butterfly motif prompted several appropriate interpretations:
– The butterfly represents metamorphosis or the process of evolving
– The butterfly is in flight, quickly and lightly moving forward, improving
– The butterfly effect is where a small change (in a scene, for example) has important consequences later on

I’m happy with it.

After many months, it feels great to see it being released into the wild. These past few days have been like watching a butterfly fly for the first time. Thanks to Marc, Vinny and Bryan for getting in touch with me and being a great team to work with.

Here are 3 notable participants in Canada’s Self Portrait

These 3 notable participants took a moment to add to our Canada’s Self Portrait Buy Fluoxetine Online project at the CRRF Conference that we were invited to in Ottawa this past week! Apart from filling out

a submission form and creating a doodle that expresses what it means to be Canadian, participants must describe Canada in one word and have their picture taken with a white board. Watch a short video about the project by clicking here.

Montreal Improv Show Poster

I created this quick design based on a brief from Montreal Improv Prozac online

instructor Joe Conto. It’s a new show where we take previously created and well-known improv “games” or “challenges” and make them even trickier! Initially, we had a firey graphic, but I suggested that a human face is always more eye-catching. I love doing quick poster campaigns. Generic Zoloft So much possibility. And I can go zero to 100 in minutes.
